Julia Rosenbaum
Julia Rosenbaum, ScM, is an AED expert in health behavior change and is currently the Deputy Director of the Hygiene Improvement Project. Ms. Rosenbaum specializes in bringing communities and science together in the design and management of environmental health, child health, HIV, and reproductive health interventions by combining both representative and participatory quantitative and qualitative research. For 22 years, she has provided strategic direction and applied behavior change approaches to multi-faceted health projects in the United States, Africa, Latin America, and South Asia. She also served as the Resident Communication Advisor to the World Health Organization's Regional Epidemiology Center (CAREC) in Trinidad while working with AIDSCOM. A fluent Spanish speaker, Ms. Rosenbaum has worked extensively in Latin America, having coordinated activities for the Nutrition Communication Project and HealthCom, which included a national breastfeeding advocacy program in Honduras.
