Anton Schneider

Anton Schneider is currently the Behavior Change Communications Advisor of the T-MARC project in Tanzania. He has over 20 years of strategic leadership experience in the design, implementation, management, and evaluation of consumer products and contraceptive social marketing programs. He has worked closely with both the international pharmaceutical industry and local pharmaceutical manufacturers to introduce new products and reposition existing brands. Formerly Mr. Schneider served as the Asia Regional Director for the SOMARC Project, where he managed country programs in Nepal, India, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Before working for the international development sector, he worked in the private sector as Director of the International Division of Porter-Novelli. His diverse experience also includes work in behavior change communications in reproductive health, family planning, and HIV/AIDS. Mr. Schneider and his team have completed a toolkit on the stigmas associated with HIV/AIDS, which is being applied in several Southern African countries and being adapted for use in Asia.
