Environmental Health
For more than 25 years, AED has addressed environmental health issues such as protection of wells and sanitary disposal of feces as part of our work in diarrheal disease control. Through our projects, AED seeks to improve handwashing, point-of-use water quality, and community sanitation. AED is also involved in efforts to address problems with indoor air pollution and its impact on acute respiratory illnesses among children.
