Family Planning/Reproductive Health

FHI 360 aims to improve the health of women and their families through family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH) programs around the globe. FHI 360 promotes the concept of optimal birth spacing through behavior change communication, social mobilization, health provider training, and partnerships with the private sector. FHI 360 uses similar interventions to promote maternal health and nutrition, including a cutting-edge computer advocacy model. Through these interventions as well as work on monitoring and evaluation of FP/RH programs and documentation of best practices in the field, FHI 360 plays a major role in addressing reproductive health issues, including client counseling, syndromic management, partner notification, couples counseling and communication, quality of service provision, referral networks, optimal birth spacing, and prenatal and postnatal care.
