GUIDE (2009 - ongoing)
http://www.healthnet.org/guide
GUIDE is a content management system developed by FHI 360-Satellife to bring vast amounts of clinical information to health workers in remote communities or under-served communities. Using GUIDE, ministries of health, international aid agencies, NGOs, and global health authorities can make their treatment guidelines, clinical protocols, research, and updates available to anyone with a mobile device. Regardless of the digital system in which they were created, GUIDE can convert documents into a format easily readable on the mobile device while preserving the graphic elements that are essential to much clinical material. Because the information resources are resident on the mobile device, it doesn’t matter whether the user has constant Internet access. GUIDE has been used to support clinical information dissemination in projects in Uganda and South Africa.
