AED hosts the Secretariat for the Global Public-Private Partnership for Handwashing (PPPHW). The PPPHW brings together leading donor, private sector, academic, and NGO organizations to promote handwashing with soap around the world.  The PPPHW promotes handwashing through global initiatives like Global Handwashing Day and supports large-scale handwashing programs. The PPPHW also serves as the go-to resource for those working on sanitation and hygiene programs, providing handwashing guidance, tools, case studies, and news.
