Pakistan Safe Drinking Water and Hygiene Promotion Project (2006 - 2009)

AED is a subcontractor to Abt Associates under the Pakistan Safe Drinking Water and Hygiene Promotion Project.  AED is responsible for the development and implementation of behavior change communications activities that reach all regions of Pakistan.  AED is tasked with using both mass media and interpersonal communications.  BCC activities include developing programs in schools; supporting large grants program to NGOs, CBOs and FBOs that targets household adoption of improved hygiene behaviors; and targeting government and community organizations to promote and maintain a safe water supply.  AED also works with the private sector to help expand access to hygiene and point of use filtration products.
