Social Marketing

Social marketing applies traditional commercial marketing tools and concepts such as the 4 P's - product, price, promotion, and place (distribution) - to achieve the objectives of public health and other social programs. Social marketing programs involve products such as condoms, contraceptives, zinc tablets, or bednets, or may focus only on health practices or on influencing health-seeking behaviors.
